Getting Started
How far in advance should we reach out?
Most couples reach out six to eighteen months in advance, especially for peak season dates. That said, availability can change quickly, so we always recommend reaching out as soon as you have a date or even a general plan in mind.
How do we officially book you?
A signed contract and a non refundable retainer are required to reserve your date. Once both are completed, your date is officially secured on our calendar.
Do you travel?
Yes. We travel anywhere your story takes you. From Montana to destinations around the world, travel is always welcome. Travel costs are not included unless stated and are outlined clearly before booking.

We’re awkward in front of the camera. Is that okay?
Absolutely. Most couples feel this way at first. Our approach is calm, guided, and natural, allowing you to stay present rather than perform. You never need to know what to do. We’ll take care of that.
Do you use shot lists?
We don’t work from rigid shot lists. Instead, we focus on storytelling and moments as they unfold. We are always happy to note important family dynamics or meaningful priorities ahead of time.
How involved are you in planning?
Very involved. We help with timeline flow, location guidance, lighting considerations, and logistics so your day feels intentional and unrushed.
Who will be photographing and filming our day?
If you book combined photography and videography coverage, both of us will be there on your day. If you book photography only or videography only, one of us will be present. From planning through delivery, you’ll always work directly with us.
Do you work with planners and other vendors?
Yes. We collaborate closely with planners, coordinators, venues, and vendor teams to ensure the day flows smoothly and nothing important is missed.
What if we don’t have our timeline figured out yet?
That’s completely normal. We help guide timeline flow during the planning process so everything feels intentional, unrushed, and aligned with what matters most to you.
Weddings + elopements
What coverage options do you offer?
We offer half day, full day, and multi day coverage for weddings and elopements. Coverage is available for photography, videography, or combined photo and video.
How many hours of coverage do we need?
Every celebration is different. Half day coverage works well for intimate timelines, while full day and multi day coverage are ideal for larger or weekend long events. We help guide this decision during planning.
What qualifies as an elopement?
Elopements typically involve smaller guest counts and more flexible timelines, often centered around adventure, travel, or intentional locations. No venues or wedding parties and usually happen within the parameters of National Parks or other countries.
Do you help with elopement planning?
Yes. We assist with location ideas, timeline pacing, lighting considerations, and logistics to help your elopement feel seamless and intentional.
Are permits or location fees included?
Permits and location fees are not included unless stated. We help guide you through what may be required for your chosen location.
Deliverables
How many photos will we receive?
Image counts vary by coverage length and are outlined clearly with each package. We deliver a carefully curated gallery that tells the full story of your day.
When will we receive our photos and films?
Delivery timelines are shared in your contract and vary by season and coverage type. Sneak peeks are included in all photo packages and are delivered within 48 hours. Video teasers are applicable to specific packages and may be added on to others and are delivered within a week of the event.
Do you deliver raw footage or unedited images?
No. We do not provide raw or unedited files. Final deliverables reflect our professional editing and storytelling approach.
Do you capture ceremony and speeches in full?
Full ceremony and speeches films are included with select coverage options and may be added to others.
Payments and Policies
What is your payment structure?
We offer flexible payment plans depending on the coverage selected. Final payments are always due ninety days before the event date.
Do you offer discounts?
Yes. We offer pay in full discounts and a five percent discount for healthcare workers, military, first responders, and teachers.
What happens if it rains or plans change?
Weather and unexpected changes are part of real life, and we plan accordingly. Safety always comes first, and we adapt coverage as needed. Some of the most meaningful moments happen in imperfect conditions.
Are you insured?
Yes. We carry liability insurance and can provide documentation upon request.
